Wild Garlic and Spring Lamb

The challenge for our chefs this month is a box of Isle of Wight spring lamb, wild garlic, spring nettles and Island asparagus.

We are picking and stashing away some wild garlic pesto with a little watercress from the pond; amazing on pasta and in risotto.

The spring lamb dish is an absolute delight, and the wild garlic pesto on a grilled lobster is pretty special.

World Class Sailing on the Solent

The Island is set for another summer of globally-renowned sailing events that will draw visitors from across the country and beyond.

Solitaire du Figaro, one of the most cherished races in French sailing, has announced a stopover on the Isle of Wight this June for the first time in its long history. The America's Cup again passes through the Solent between July 21st-24th.

In addition there is of course the annual Cowes Week in early August, invariably an absorbing and memorable week on the Isle of Wight.

Island-Crafted Luxury Yurts

With all the luxury of a hotel room, snuggled in the woods by the beach overlooking the Solent, our yurts are definitely not to be missed.

Ideal for a romantic getaway, or family adventure by the sea, staying in one of our yurts takes the stress away from camping without losing touch with nature.

Our luxury yurts increase in popularity every year as 'glamping' becomes ever more fashionable. Consequently our diary for summer 2016 is filling quickly, contact us for more details and availability.

Isle of Wight Festival 2016

The ever popular music festival is just over 5 weeks away, we currently have a few rooms available for Fri 10th, Sat 11th and Sun 12th June.

This year's festival features a strong British theme amongst the headliners, returning previous crowd-pleasers The Who, Stereophonics and Faithless, alongside Queen.

Soak up the atmosphere of the festival before returning to the tranquility of Priory Bay.
